...what on earth do you have in store for us?
I for one have stopped second guessing. There is a lot of chatter about the “new normal” with which I do not concur lest it be true. Let’s make this extremely abnormal please and a period in history never to be repeated.
Send Some Love
So what cheer can February bring us? Well, it is St Valentines day on the 14th and this year I think we can extend our thoughts and hopes and wishes to anyone in our lives we would like to send a little love to.
To help you along, our database customers can receive free UK delivery with code FEBVD until the 28th Feb.
Currently proving very popular are our luxury match boxes and bottles in the heart, cupid and love designs. My favourite is the “token of love” bottle, pair it with a scented candle or a little hurricane jar such as this one which go perfectly with the 2.5 burn dinner candles - inexpensive yet charming and so perfect for these dreary days and very dark nights.
Or you could go all out with a candelabra or 3 to dot around the house such as the majestic Sylvie with a favourite colour of tapered dining candles. As always we will handwrite your messages of love and beautifully gift wrap in our signature grey or dusky pink paper and tie with satin ribbon at no extra cost.
New this month is our range by the legendary interior designer and ‘Grande Dame’ of maximalist style - Abigail Ahern. I am sitting on a grey parker sheepskin as I type and can verify it is super soft and comfy, stylish and grey of course!
The faux flower and succulent range is absolutely stunning. I adore the hydrangeas and the trailing eucalyptus which work perfectly in the Etro vessel pots. I have always been drawn to Abigails’ eclectic vibe, maximalism is the most expressive of styles where nothing is off limits and old is mixed skilfully and artfully with the new. Vintage pieces can sit happily alongside something brand spanking new and look fabulous.
Well, that is all for February, thank you all for your continued support and whilst we are struggling to restock some items from our European suppliers it could be much worse. Most items will be back in stock by the Spring. We have a new email feature that will let you know when your favourite piece is back.
